The Mariner in located in Marine City, Michigan along the St. Clair River. Marine City is a town rich in Maritime History which is reflected in it's historic buildings, parks and museum. The Mariner was build as a movie palace and theater for vaudeville and other live entertainment in 1927. For many years it played a key role in the community as it provided priceless memories. The Mariner's curtain closed in the 1970's and it was converted to a "plaza" and later to offices in the 1990's. In 2015, under new ownership, the Mariner would become home to Titanic - The Building of an Icon Exhibit and a multi use venue where people will be surrounded by the world's finest models, historical items, antiques, unique music boxes, art and restored theater seating for films.
Mariner's Surroundings - World class space has been created on two levels with each offering different character and elegance. Our theater level is home to 50 1930's theater seats, galleries filled with world class treasures, Titanic, big screen, projector and more. Our penthouse level offers a full kitchen, area for corporate meetings either on comfortable seating or at a conference table. Each level is complete with wifi, presentation equipment, 50" video monitors and more.
